RBBA Statement on COVID-19 March 9, 2020

ROCKVILLE: Following the reported outbreak of COVID-19 in the Rockville community, the Rockville Baseball Association (RBBA) and the City of Rockville are closely monitoring the situation and are standing by to act if necessary, to limit the virus’s spread through the local community.

At this time out focus and expectation is to play this season as scheduled. We remain alert to any circumstances that could warrant adjustments for the health and well being of our players, fans, and families. We are in continued communication with public health officials and remind everyone to be attentive to everyday preventive actions identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. These resources can be found on the CDC website, www.CDC.gov.

The RBBA and the City of Rockville will be following the recommendations of the Montgomery County Health Department in regard to further actions in relation to the virus.  If there are any changes updates will be posted on both organizations websites www.RBBA.org and www.Rockvillemd.gov as well as both organizations social media platforms.
